The Yii PHP framework is one of the recent editions to hit the web with an immediate claim that it is faster than anything out there right now. Since making such a bold claim, we are going to investigate this first.

Obviously as you can see Yii literally screams well past any other framework in performance. In our next part we will put Yii to the test and see if these claims are what they make to be!
